Last week two new Optare Solo SRs joined the fleet with a third example still to arrive. These three brand new buses are intended for use on the 55 Ruthin to Corwen, 76 Denbigh to Ruthin via Llangwyfan and the 45 Rhyl to Bodelwyddan Hospital via Kinmel Bay services following the award of contracts from Denbighshire County Council. The intention is that they are to be put into the Local Authority's green and white livery similar to the StreetLites used on the Mold to Ruthin corridor.
YJ21FBA arrived in plain white but has now been to the paint shop but has yet to see service.

YJ21FBB also arrived in plain white but has already seen service working on Saturday 26th June and Monday 28th June on the Mold to Ruthin corridor and this week on the 29 Wrexham service to deputise for the normal Versa.
