New T10 TrawsCymru service Bangor to Corwen

Starting this Saturday 31st August a new T10 TrawsCymru service between Bangor and Corwen will start.

This service will connect with the T3 at Corwen and the timetable that has been published today by Traveline shows the connections.  <<LINK TO TIMETABLE>>

Traveline.Cymru indicates on their news page that Llew Jones of Llanrwst will operate the service although postings, (since removed), on Social Media have indicated that the service will be run jointly with Cerbydau K&P Coaches of Llangefni who have been advertising for drivers for a new service they have been awarded.

The timetable suggests that two vehicles may be required.  One starting and finishing in Llanrwst and the other starting and finishing in Bangor. These two vehicle will provide a service essentially two hourly on weekdays.  On Sundays during the summer period the service is two hourly between Bangor and Betws-y-Coed and four hourly to Corwen.  In the winter on Sundays the service will be three journeys (four hourly) between Bangor and Corwen.

Llew Jones announced on Social Media  (since removed) that K and P coaches will be using Tempo YA13AAF (on loan from the Welsh Assembly) and Llew Jones will be using Tempos YA13AAJ and YD63UZM.  In addition Llew Jones indicated that they will be receiving a new Volvo B11 Plaxton Panther LE to trial on this service.
