Launch of 1Bws ticket - report

Today (24th August 2021) was the official launch of the 1Bws ticket.This took place at the Rhyl Events arena.

The 1Bws is a day ticket which can be purchased on board from virtually every bus operator in North Wales and it can then be used on all almost all of the services in the region.  This involves 27 bus operators and nearly 200 routes.

The launch consisted of a gathering of eight of the regions buses with a number of representatives of the bus operators, local and Welsh government, the press and a number of bus enthusiasts.  A short speech and the launch was Made by Councillor Brian Jones who is the lead Member for Waste, Transport and the Environment for Denbighshire County Council
