As previously reported from 1st April the 64 Llangollen to Glyn Ceiriog and Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceriog is now operated by Tanat Valley.
Strangely all on-line sites showing timetables for the service still indicate that it is being operated by the former company Llew Jones of Llanrwst. This includes the website of the former company and unfortunately the Tanat Valley website does not yet include this service in their timetables.
Yesterday (11th April) I managed to capture the vehicle arriving at Llangollen and then later about to depart for the Ceiriog Valley having visited the Medical Centre on the Wrexham Road battling its way through the roadworks and traffic controls that are affecting Llangollen during the works to widen the pavements in the town.
WP17OBY is a Mercedes 516CDI with an Illebus C19F body and it was new to Tanat in January this year. Unfortunately due to the delay caused by the roadworks there was no time to allow for a closer look at the bus.
