This demand responsive service in Holywell was initially introduced in June 2021 to replace the LT1-3 services that visited such places as Rhes-y-Cae, Caerwys, Pantasaph, Ysceifiog, Lloc and Carmel. It has been operated by P and O Lloyd on behalf of Flintshire County Council using mainly a Mercedes Benz 516CDI / Minibus Options (M16).
The area of the 'fflecsi' service has now been extended and now involves places such as Whitford, Trelogan, Berthengam and Trelawnyd.
There is still only one vehicle employed for this service which operates Monday - Saturday 0915 - 1800 (1300 on a Saturday).
