Lloyds Coaches of Machynlleth have commenced using fleet numbers.
From about the beginning of this month they are gradually being seen on their fleet.
The system consists of an alpha character followed by two numbers. The system is being used mainly to assist with the engineering processes and the Alpha character denotes the type of bus.
As examples from what has been seen so far :-
all the Optare vehicles will carry the prefix 'B',
Mercedes Tourismos have an 'A',
AD Enviro 200s have a 'C'
The six double deck vehicles have a 'D'
The fleet list within my website will be populated with the fleet numbers as they are discovered.
