From Monday the 15th of August there will be a new fflescsi demand responsive bus service that will operate in the Buckley and surrounding areas. This service will replace the existing LT4 and LT8 services.
The area that will be covered is shown in the following map :-
The service will run from 7.45 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Saturdays (except between 8.15 and
9.15 during school term times). There will be a flat fare of £2.50 (£1.50 children) and concessionary card holders travel for free .
There will be two buses in use - both of them the current Flintshire liveried minibuses but one of these will be replaced by an 'electric' vehicle later in the year.
The service will be operated by Wrexham Prestige Taxis.
The normal arrangement for the fflecsi / demand response service will apply. The buses do not run to a
fixed timetable or route and to use the service you need to book in advance. This is done via an 'app' or by telephoning a call centre on 0300 234 0300. Passengers choose when booking where to be picked up from and dropped off
