The two day event of the Mold Food and Drink Festival occurred yesterday and today (17-18th).
The contract to provide two buses for the Park and Ride for this event was operated by Townlynx. The parking area is situated at the County Hall and passengers are conveyed to a special stop located on Chester Street near the entrance to the Bus Station.
Today (18th) the two buses used on the service were the two AD 200 MMC YX17NZA/B - seen here outside the Mold Law Courts.
There was a possibility that the latest acquisition of Townlynx - the Optare Solo all electric YJ64DZS would work the service but it was not to be. It did make an appearance in Mold on Friday 16th September on a trial run - but it developed a minor technical problem and was not used.
