The vehicle being used by Dales Travel to operate the Deeside Industrial Estate Park and Ride has changed. Currently the vehicles used are supplied by Flintshire County Council The Flintshire liveried Peugeot Boxer 15 seater MX18AVR has been replaced by a plain grey 8 seater Ford Tourneo Custom 320 - HW20ENH
Whilst most of the time there are few vehicles and people using the car park there are days when there are a number of visitors visiting the Iceland premises and at certain times this vehicle has not been large enough.
The contract for this Park and Ride shuttle service is being revised and re-tendered with effect from April and it is believed that the new format of the service will be demand responsive.
The Peugeot Boxer MX18AVR has been diverted to Wrexham Prestige Taxis for use on the Buckley and Penyffordd flexi
The Levante 2 BV17GOU reported to be with Dales Travel in December was only on loan and has left the fleet.
Joining the Dales Travel fleet is VIG2097 a Neoplan N2216/3SHDC Tourliner (C53Ft) It was new as BT14BUZ in May 2014 to Buzzlines, Hythe;. It was later with Bouden Coach Travel, Castle Vale.
Left the fleet is SP07HHZ Volvo B7R / Plaxton Profile.
FC07MCF the Volvo B12B / 9700 is currently off the raos awaiting an MoT. This was once the Manchester City and and also the Wrexham Football coach.
