Arriva = Changes to Timetable January 2024

From various dates in January Arriva are making changes to the timetables which it is suggested are being introduced to reflect the effect of the new 20mph speed limit recently imposed.

From 7th January there are certain changes in Conwy and Gwynedd operated by the Bangor and Llandudno (outstation) depots - details available at <<LINK>>

From 14th January the following changes are being made on routes operated by the Rhyl depot:-

The Timetable of the 51 and X51 Rhyl – Denbigh – Ruthin – Wrexham services will be revised but there will be no change to the frequencies. The X51 service will no longer serve the village of Llandegla and it will pick up and drop off on the main A525.   It also will no longer call into Tweedmill Shopping Outlet.

Services 11, 11c, 11f and 11m, Rhyl to Chester  and the Service 12, Rhyl to Llandudno will have adding time to peak journeys to ensure the service can run more reliably.  Timetable will be revised but there will be no change to the frequencies.

The timetables for the 35 and 36, Rhyl Meliden and Dyserth Circulars  and the 83 and 84a, Rhyl Town Circulars will be revised but there will be no change to the frequencies.

From 21st January-  changes to routes operated by the Chester (Hawarden) depot:-

Service 3, Chester to Broughton  - will be re-routed in Chester to operate via Grosvenor Street in both directions not Handbridge.

Services 4, 4b and X4 Chester to Mold  - An additional bus put into the timetable to enable more time to be given to journeys, ensuring the service can run more reliably. Timetable will be revised but there will be no change to the frequencies. Some X4 journeys will be revised to coordinate with other changes

Service 5, Mold to Ellesmere Port - Frequency will be reduced to operate every 75 minutes with additional time to be given to each journey to ensure the service can run more reliably.

Services 10 and 10a, Chester to Flint - Timetable will be revised, no changes to frequency.
