Recently Arriva made a decision to not serve the village of Llandegla on the X51 service ( Rhyl - Denbigh - Wrexham). This generated a lot of concern in both the local and national media. This blog reported that Denbighshire County Council, with also the involvement of Transport for Wales, had arranged for a minibus service to make three journeys during the day to run from Ruthin, through the village to the Five Crosses, Coedpoeth.
This arrangement started on 7th February. It is operated by Zenith Logistics Limited of Rhyl who trade as Coastal.
Arriva will resume visits to the village from 25th February but only on the 8.00 am into Wrexham and the 1712 from Wrexham.
