Keane's Coaches (D.P.K. Commercials Limited) now have another yellow Caetano Levante. Whilst looking very similar to the first Levante that arrived in June of this year they have different chassis.
The latest arrival is currently registered K10BBT and is a Volvo B12B / Caetano Lavante (C49FLt). It was new in Sept 2006 as FJ56PAO to Selwyns, Runcorn [114]; then in May 2019 it was with Bournemouth [980]; in July 2020 it was with Dover, Hetton-le-Holen Tyne and Wear and in February 2021 it was with Bishop, (British Bus Tours) Tranmere from where it has come.
It only arrived last Friday and work is still to be done to remove the former vinyls. The cherished numbers of this vehicle and K11BBT (FJ07DWF) a Scania K340EB4 / Caetano Lavante are not being retained but is not clear what they will change to.
In addition this operator has now had his number of discs raised to 5 and his licence is now the international variant.
