The long awaited electric buses have now been delivered to Flintshire County Council.
These two Switch (Optare) Solo EV's YJ72EVF/G were due to enter service last March but have been delayed.
It is not totally clear where they are to be used. Indications previously given were that they are to replace County Council owned minibuses currently being used. This is likely to be on the Buckley area Fflecsi service operated on behalf of Flintshire by Wrexham Prestige Taxis and that a charging point is to be installed at premises in Dobbs Hill used by the firm for overnight parking.
