The contract for this Park and Ride service to and from the Deeside Industrial Estate Car Park has been renewed for a period of some 3 months. From 1st April the service is changing and only passengers who have pre-booked with at least 48 hours notice will be allowed to ride. It will operate from 0600 - 1800 Monday to Saturday.
A minibus is being employed and the service will continue to be provided by Dales Coaches of Sandycroft on behalf of Flintshire County Council.
Apparently the demand for this car park which was not particularly high is likely to further diminished as a result of changes within Iceland Frozen Foods which has resulted in plenty of car parking being made available on their premises.
