This week sees another demand responsive fflecsi service commence in the area. The new service Denbigh 77 will be operated by Denbighshire County Council themselves and will utilise a wheelchair-accessible Nissan Dynamo E-NV200 EV micro electric vehicle - BJ21KKT. This vehicle was new to Denbighshire County Council in March 2021 and was initially used as a taxi (Plate no. 692). It has seating for 5 persons.
The area covered by the new service will operate to the south west of Denbigh, as well as to the north west and north east of the town covering largely rural areas, providing improved transport connections for communities to local shops, health centres, places of work and other key destinations. Also with funding from Conwy County Borough Council the service will additionally serve the villages of Llannefydd and Groes.
