Being a member of the Crosville Enthusiasts Club has a number of advantages and one of these is the ability to go on organised tours involving some of the wonderful preserved Crosville vehicles.
Saturday 4th November was such an occasion when a short trip from Chester to Crewe was organised following the former C84 service and using Andy Hamer's ENL930 (HFM186N). This is a Leyland National that was new to Crosville in February 1975. It spent time working at various depots including West Kirby, Crewe, Northwich and Runcorn. It transferred to North Western whilst at Runcorn in November 1989 and ended its time as a training bus before being preserved. It sports the post deregulation livery of orange and dark green.
