Changes to TrawsCymru workings in North East Wales.

Significant changes have been made to the T3 Wrexham to Barmouth service from Sunday 6th November.  The service no longer visits the villages of Llandrillo and Cynwyd on route to Bala and it also no longer goes into the village of Llanuwchllyn.  Instead a new service T3C runs every 2 hours from Corwen through the villages terminating at the village of Llanuwchllyn.

The service also now goes directly from Wrexham to Ruabon via the A483 and no longer visits Pentrebychan and Johnstown.

The benefits of the new timings is that there is now a regular 2 hour service with significant connections in Corwen and Dolgellau with various other TrawsCymru services.

Thus at Corwen at 1000, 1200, and 1400 five TrawsCymru buses can be found at the Interchange.

The T3C is timed to arrive at xx50 and depart at xx10.  The T3 service to Wrexham should arrive at xx55 and depart xx00 whilst the Barmouth bus is timed at an arrival of xx00 and depart xx05.

On Monday 6th November on the first day of operation of the T3C service at 1000 the driver incorrectly parked his bus on the main bus stop, Fortunately the T10 and T8 vehicles both arrived and having disembarked passengers parked at the rear of the Car Park near the Railway Station.  Both T3 vehicles were running a few minutes late they found themselves unable to exit due to the location of the T3C bus.  It was a while before this vehicles moved causing an unnecessary delay to both T3 vehicles.  I understand that at the 1200 interchange the driver did park away from the bus stop.
