I did report on 28 August the arrival of YN22YJA a Scania K320IB4 / Mobi.
Today I had an opportunity to have a close look at this interesting coach. It came virtually new as it had not previously had PSV use - having been a mobile vaccination centre in Lancashire since being first registered in April of this year.
The firm had the opportunity of choosing the seating used and it is now fitted with 74 seats which appear very comfortable and are better spaced than some school buses I have seen.
It is fully PSVR compliant and has a wheelchair lift with a couple of quick release seats to enable a wheelchair to be accommodated.
The bodywork is by MOBIpeople which is a company based in Portugal which has an association with B.A.S.E. Limited, Leyland, Lancashire.
The model is a MOBIpeople Explorer 330 and it has a 12.5m body.
It is about to be fitted with cctv and then it is to receive vinyls and have the destination programmed. It should see use shortly.
